It can feel overwhelming when dealing with trauma and feelings others don't seem to truly understand. Feeling misunderstood and alone - all at the same time.
I am Selma Bacevac, a licensed psychotherapist out of Clearwater, FL. I help those who are struggling due to past traumatic experiences. These struggles may feel like irritation, anger, depression, and anxiety. They may also have affected their relationships with family and friends and may have created parenting difficulties.
I help my clients by teaching them how trauma affects the brain and body. My clients also learn how to feel safe again through specific exercises and learning new ways of thinking. I have an attachment theory perspective on healing which means that I hold sacred, safe, and secure space for my client's during their treatment where they feel entirely accepted and wholly understood. I am looking forward to your healing journey.
